Our Families

Colossians 3:14
“But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection”

The Chapman Family

Born in Houston to Angela Chapman and Leonard Chapman, Lauren was raised in a family rooted in love, faith, and togetherness. Spending her childhood across Texas, Ohio, and California, she grew up surrounded by adventure, meaningful memories, and a family that has always believed in putting one another first. Both of her parents attended Texas A&M University and instilled in her the importance of service, community, and giving back to others. Her home was always filled with “I love you’s,” encouragement, and an appreciation for cherishing every season of life together. While her late father will be deeply missed, his love and presence will forever remain woven into this special celebration.

The Stevenson Family

Born in Pearland, Bryce was raised by Dr. Leah Matthews and Marcus Stevenson in a home grounded in Christian values, family, and intentional love. Whether through family game nights, exploring new places, or simply spending quality time together; Bryce was raised in a family that valued connection and creating lasting memories. Although life often stayed busy, his parents made it a priority to show up for every chapter, from Baseball and Boy Scouts to college football games and life’s everyday moments. Both of his parents graduated from Texas A&M University and instilled in him the importance of mentorship, leadership, and pouring into the next generation. Above all, the Stevenson family believes in showing up for one another, celebrating life fully, and never missing the chance to enjoy a good line dance together.

Our Angels

Leonard Chapman

Lauren’s dad will always hold a special place in her heart and in the story being celebrated. His love, strength, and unwavering presence continue to shape the woman she has become, and his spirit will forever be woven into this special chapter.

Bennie Matthews

Bryce’s papa (Leah's Dad) had a meaningful presence throughout Bryce's young  life. Some of Bryce’s favorite memories include riding around together on the four-wheeler and learning how to play cards while watching his papa and uncles gathered around the table. Those simple moments became some of the memories he cherishes most.

Mamie Arterberry

Lauren’s granny  (Angela's Mother) will be remembered for the joy she found in simple moments, especially playing games like Scrabble and baking her famous chocolate cake.  Her traditions and presence remain a meaningful part of the family’s story and memories.
